AMP Visual Media ("AMP", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through ampvisualmedia.com, theampdeck.com, our Facebook and Instagram ads, and our booking process, and what we do with it.
Who we are
AMP Visual Media is a marketing and strategy agency based at 1325 Highway 2, Unit 4, Belleville, Ontario K8P 4T3, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you and run our services:
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Business details: your business name, website, and what you tell us feels stuck in your business.
- Answers on our lead forms: for example who decides on spending, your timing, and whether our session fee works for you.
- Booking and payment details: when you book an Amp Deck™ session, your booking goes through Google Calendar and your payment through Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Website and ad activity: pages you visit and actions you take on our site, collected through cookies and the Meta Pixel (see below).
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or direct message.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Reply to your enquiry and book your session.
- Run your Amp Deck™ session and send your written summary.
- Decide whether our services are a fit and follow up with you.
- Improve our website and our advertising.
- Meet legal and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we use to run AMP, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): runs our lead forms and ads, and receives activity from the Meta Pixel on our site.
- Google: hosts our booking calendar and Google Meet sessions.
- Stripe: processes session payments.
- Cloudflare: hosts our website and runs the spam check (Turnstile) on our contact form.
- Resend: delivers the messages you send through our contact form to our inbox.
- Our client portal and website providers: store the files and content you share with us.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Our website uses cookies and the Meta Pixel to understand how people use the site and to measure and improve our ads. The Pixel tells Meta when someone visits a page or clicks a booking button. You can turn off ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Emails and marketing
If you fill in a form or contact us, we will reply and may follow up about your enquiry. We send marketing emails only with your consent, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email from us identifies AMP and gives you a way to opt out. You can also reply "stop" at any time and we will remove you.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that never become clients are deleted or anonymized after 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
How we protect it
We use access controls and reputable, secure providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop contacting you, or withdraw a consent you gave.
To do any of these, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
